Abstract/Sommario: Ludovico Marracci (1612-1700) was one of the first Italian scholars who translated Corano in Italy. He introduces his study with an analysis of Marracci's life and works, his Islamic studies and the method of 'Refutation'. then , after a brief presentation of the Mu'tazila, he goes into the analysis od al-Zamahsai's commentary of the Qur'an, al-Kassas.
