Abstract/Sommario: The exercice of religious power in rural pastorates of mainly native population, was developed in the Andean districts of the viceroyalty of the Rio de la Plata by 'curas doctrineros'. The work puts in consideration the conjecture that the exercice of the power of 'curas doctrineros' develops from an agreement among the colonial power, the native authorities, curas doctrineros, grocers, and religious auxiliaries.
