Abstract/Sommario: James W. C. Dougall (1896-1980)was for 20 years the secretary of the Church of Scotland Foreign Mission Committee, beginning soon after the end of the Second World War. A theme to which he returned again and again is the primacy of evangelism and personal conversion. For him education was at the heart of Mission.
