Abstract/Sommario: The article focuses on U.S. Asian policy after 9/1. New since 9/11 has been the strong focus on military coercion, the Bush doctrine of preventive war, and the strong sense of moral certainty, coinciding with a will to decide foreign policy issues unilaterally.
