China Eyes Congo's Treasures
Abstract/Sommario:
The Democratic Republic of Congo is home to 10% of the world's copper reserves and one third of the world's cobalt, not to mention Nobilum and Tantalum, nickel and uranium. In change of Chinese 5 billion dollars loan, China is getting mining concessions. Most of the interests of China's recent loans to DRC have centred on rehabilitation of the mining sector.
