Myth and Reality in the Discourse of Confucian Capitalism in Korea

Abstract/Sommario: This article argues that the so called Confucian capitalism in Asia is based on a superficial reading of Max Weber. The major points Weber has can still apply in Asia today. Thuss controversial issues such as Asian values and Confucian capitalism need to be re-examined in this globalized age
