Abstract/Sommario:
The level of poverty in Nigeria in recent time is frightening and alarming. The endemic character of poverty in that country perhaps necessitated the varied responses to the problem. The Government and of the non-governmental agencies like the Church are actively involved in finding a solution to this problem.
