Abstract/Sommario: The article considers the common interest and the increasing co-operation in terms of security and economic development between China and Kazakhstan in the Post-9/11 era. First the article argues that the end of Cold War and the inauguration of a US-led 'War on Terror' bring China and Kazakhstan into a closer partnership.
