Abstract/Sommario: The Author, Bishop of Vasai shows how the Syro-Malankara Church's values, closely allied to those of the Semitic cultures, are very important for the right approach to inculturation of the Church in India. Drawing from the teaching of Pope John Paul 2., he shows how inculturation is a need of the church today, how it looks at the future and not at the past, and how it is a task for every Church.
