The author attacks the idea that China can't keep up its current pace of growth. Labour productivity in industry is seven times larger than in agriculture, China's agriculture suffers from severe excess labour, job opportunities in industry and services continue to increase as long as demand for industrial goods and for services is strong, education will be a growth driver, the demographic factor matters not only in terms of talent but also in terms of domestic market size.
