Abstract/Sommario: In Egypt citizens equality is still far from being attained: however, since the decline of violence and fundamentalism in 1997, Egyptians began to talk about citizenship, political reforms and democracy. The article focuses on Copts: they do not occupy leading positions in the government or bureaucracy, and they have to face legal and administrative obstacles that deny them the right to build churches. The article focuses on Copts: they do not occupy leading positions in the government or bureaucracy, and they have to face legal and administrative obstacles that deny them the right to build churches. The article examines written Christian media in Egypt: there are a number of journals and magazines published by church bodies. These Christians publications have several characteristics that include: preaching purpose, more general purposes; none of these publications present any self-criticism or constructive criticism od the Church, especially in administrative and organizational matters. There is no one common church press, and each journal is published by a separate church. Most journals are not professional and are mostly concerned with the church community
