Abstract/Sommario: L'articolo analizza la concezione di poesia e di convenzione letteraria usate e sotenute nel Ramacaritamanasa di Tulasidasa; una poesia da cantare o da narrare a un uditorio. Nel testo egli si avvale delle convenzioni letterarie ereditate dalla tradizione indiana classica. La trasmissione orale del testo del Ramacaritamanasa è molto comune anche oggi. L'epica popolare è trasmessa oralmente e per lo più improvvisata. Abstract/Sommario: The fertility of the soil was one of the factors of development of the middle Ganges plain at least from the half of the II millennium BC, absorbing people from other regions of the Subcontinent. Other factors which characterize the Ganges Civilization are better shown by litterary sources (for instance, the caste system). Archaeological data reveal that while in the rest of the Subcontintent permanent villages were laking, in this region some important sites, which will become urban ...; [Leggi tutto...] The fertility of the soil was one of the factors of development of the middle Ganges plain at least from the half of the II millennium BC, absorbing people from other regions of the Subcontinent. Other factors which characterize the Ganges Civilization are better shown by litterary sources (for instance, the caste system). Archaeological data reveal that while in the rest of the Subcontintent permanent villages were laking, in this region some important sites, which will become urban centres (as Sravasti, Ayodhya, Vaisalui, Rajghat, Kausambi) were established during the Early Iron age. The beginning of the use of terracotta discs may signify a control over production. The development of pyrotechnologic techniques (iron, glass, pottery) allowed the creation of some new artefacts. At least, the Early Iron Age led to the urbanization in the Ganges plain, which was propulsive to the establishment of permanent settlements in other regions of India

Abstract/Sommario: The article examines a Buddhist movement in Shaanxi in the early 680s, during the early Tang. Bai Tieyu, the leader of the movement, evolved from a faith healer who amassed a huge fortune from Buddhist believers wishing to gaze upon a planted bronze Buddha he had 'discovered' to a messianic deliverer, who, claiming that the mandate had been severed, set up a government and assumed an imperial title. By the spring 683, Bai Tieyu's local uprising in Suizhou had grown to such proportions ...; [Leggi tutto...] The article examines a Buddhist movement in Shaanxi in the early 680s, during the early Tang. Bai Tieyu, the leader of the movement, evolved from a faith healer who amassed a huge fortune from Buddhist believers wishing to gaze upon a planted bronze Buddha he had 'discovered' to a messianic deliverer, who, claiming that the mandate had been severed, set up a government and assumed an imperial title. By the spring 683, Bai Tieyu's local uprising in Suizhou had grown to such proportions that the The court ordered general Cheng Wuting to suppress it. The uprising was first of all a peasant rebellion, a response to abysmal socio-economic condition; second it was a religious movement centred both upon local traditions of revivalist Buddhism and apocalyptic beliefs, partiularly those surrounding Yeguang Wang (Prince Lunar Radiance). Third, it was also an ethnical uprise of the Jihu non-Chinese group. In Bai Tieyu the Jihu saw a religious, political and military lesder: asLunar Radiance he was a demi-god and a latter-day Liu Sahe who might heal and transform. Abstract/Sommario: Diversi sono gli indizi che collegano il rapido sviluppo dei centri proto-urbani dell'Indo a produzioni artigianali di lusso, come pietre semipreziose e conchiglie, segno della presenza di una élite ricca, probabilmente costituita da ricchi allevatori, gruppi che controllavano vasti e fertili territori, mercanti di pietre dure e altri beni preziosi, artigiani valenti. Non si può al momento stabilire se queste élites cpmprendessero anche specialisti religiosi o esperti in riti. Le élit ...; [Leggi tutto...] Diversi sono gli indizi che collegano il rapido sviluppo dei centri proto-urbani dell'Indo a produzioni artigianali di lusso, come pietre semipreziose e conchiglie, segno della presenza di una élite ricca, probabilmente costituita da ricchi allevatori, gruppi che controllavano vasti e fertili territori, mercanti di pietre dure e altri beni preziosi, artigiani valenti. Non si può al momento stabilire se queste élites cpmprendessero anche specialisti religiosi o esperti in riti. Le élites, tuttavia, non esibirono se stesse in grandi opere d'arte figurativa o architettonica. Scelsero invece di connotare il loro status mediante segni visibili quali ornamenti preziosi, che ben si guardavano dal distruggere in costosi riti funerari. Questo status veniva trasmesso ai propri discendenti, ed era in vita e non sulla soglia della morte, che ciascun individuo e ciascun segmento sociale contrattava il proprio posto in un mondo già vastamente gerarchizzato. L'A. analizza nell'articolo la riorganizzazione territoriale, l'economia rurale, l'organizzazione degli insediamenti e la nascita delle prime realtà urbane, la formazione degli stati protostorici indiani e l'importanza del governo delle acque in tale organizzazione, la nascita della scrittura e l'attività amministrativa, il commercio e la produzione artigianale, i sistemi metrologici, la società e la cultura nonchè le pratiche funerarie.

Ciò avviene soprattutto per l'Arabo e il Francese, in quanto predominanza simbolica che va oltre l'ambito culturale e sociale e che comporta anche una valenza politica. Da ciò emerge che la scelta della lingua è strettamente legata ad una continuità nella gestione del potere . Mentre la lingua parlata evolve in funzione dei cambiamenti sociali e storici, l'arabo letterario e il francese risultano funzionali il primo alla costruzione di un nazionalismo identitario, l'altro alla formazione delle nuove classi dirigenti marocchine

Abstract/Sommario: The sensorial experience takes on a central valence in the though of early Buddhism and can be viewed somehow as a crossroad, a place where the path to bondage and the path to freedom begin to diverge. The first path is supported by ignorance (avjja), while the second one is supported by the tools of the contemplative practice (sati-sampajanna). Contemplative practices can lead to the cessation of existencial suffering. In this regard the six sensorial spheres (salayatana) constitute a ...; [Leggi tutto...] The sensorial experience takes on a central valence in the though of early Buddhism and can be viewed somehow as a crossroad, a place where the path to bondage and the path to freedom begin to diverge. The first path is supported by ignorance (avjja), while the second one is supported by the tools of the contemplative practice (sati-sampajanna). Contemplative practices can lead to the cessation of existencial suffering. In this regard the six sensorial spheres (salayatana) constitute an especially fertile ground for the cultivation of sati-sampajanna (contemplative practice). The Nikayas illustrate categories of the experiential reality that could seem different from the typical methods of contemplative practices. In the paper the A. examines the factor behind the two opposite processes, their nature and their consequences as showed in the Pali Nikaya
