Social Justice and Global Trade

Abstract/Sommario: The Author, professor in Economics at Columbia University, argues that trade liberalization must be re-examined to take into account how it damages poor countries. Reforming the WTO would not guarantee that we would get a fair and efficient global trade and globalization trade regime, but it would enhance the chances that trade and globalization come closer to living up to their potential for enhancing the welfare of everyone
